Nosara Wildlife Rescue celebrated it's 4th annual fundraiser at the beautiful clubhouse and gardens of Selvamar on February 3rd. This was another fun time for all Nosarinians and visitors alike with free bocas and a cash bar.
Many items were up for grabs at the silent auction, with Ric Bryant hosting another successful live auction. With the entry price dropped to a $30 donation, the event was well attended.
When the dust settled, Nosara Wildlife Rescue netted approximately $6,500. Several auction items were held back for an Auction by Email to come in the near future. |

Plans are being made to secure the perfect Selvamar Clubhouse again for the first Friday in February, 2013.
Nosara Wildlife Rescue would like to give sincere thanks to:
– Peter Gillman & his Board for the use of the Selvamar Clubhouse
– Mary Brennan, Nice Alterman, Paula White, Bobbi Johnson and Rosie Heindl for heading up the various committees making this event run smoothly
– Ric Bryant for his expertise with the auctioneering
– Kaya Sol and their chefs Jorge Matamores & Michael Zuazo for the donation and serving of the delicious BBQ and cleanup after the event
– Gerardo Bolanos of the Harmony Hotel and their chef Kimberly Nogeura for the yummy brownies
– Rusvel of Super Nosara for use of the tables and chairs
– Also, a special thanks to those who donated the many beautiful auction items.
A huge thanks to those volunteers who worked the food and beverage, ticket sales, solicitation of donated auction items and prep and cleanup of the Clubhouse. A Nosara Wildlife Rescue On Line Auction will be coming up soon to auction those items that didn't make the Auction block gavel. Stay tuned!
Construction is already underway with expanding the facilities at both the Refugio and SIBU Sanctuary with the revenue from this Fundraiser.
