On December 28th, there will be a skate party in Camping Tree House Garden, in honor of “Taima,” the official surfer mascot who turns five years old and also for all those with a fever for skateboards. Tree House has its own ramp so little ones, youths and adults can sign up for this sport on wheels.
Spacialle and Enrique, proprietors of the Tree House, decided to build the ramp at their home. The idea arose from last year’s party when they asked to borrow Nosara’s ramp to put on the party. From this moment, they saw the need of the young ones to have their own ramp to skateboard and spend time with friends. “People were crazy about having a place to skate; that’s why we built one to have it always and spreading the idea that it’s here and it’s free to use,” said Spacialle.
The skate party starts at sunset so children can enjoy the ramp and be with their parents. Beginning at 9 p.m. the night will heat up with local DJ Paul Da Costa and international White Abbot from Florida. The two will be sure to play a variety of exclusive music for all tastes. |

Admission fee is 2,000 colones. Inside the party there will be security and food and drinks for sale, including the famous enchiladas, fruits, coconut water, juices and more.
Last year approximately 100 people arrived at the party. This year they expect more since some reservations have already been made and people are coming from San Jose. In addition, a surprise prize will be awarded to the person who demonstrates the best trick on a skateboard.
