At the height of summer, fiestas will begin in Garza beach beginning Friday, the 20th, until Monday, the 23rd of April.

And this time there will be a pageant! On Saturday, the April 7th, the presentation of candidates will take place in Barco del amor (the love boat) in Garza at 7 p.m., during which music and food can be enjoyed.

Since March 26th, the seven beautiful candidates, with ages ranging from 16 to 18, have been gathering patronages of 20,000 colones. There is still time for any businesses or people who want to support the girls to do so until the coronation dance, which will be held on April 21st at 8 p.m. after the bull riding.

For those who like bull riding, they can be enjoyed from Friday, April 20th, when the bulls will be from Hacienda el Palmar with riders Los Costeños.

On Saturday, the 21st, Hacienda Miravalles will participate hand in hand with Hacienda Nueva Esperanza of the Rodriguez Vega brothers. This same day, Malacrianza will be in his hometown, and the riders from la Bajura will face the strongest unruly animal.

For good riders, the traditional tape race will be on Sunday, April 22nd, at 10 a.m. the price for adults is 5,000 colones ($10) and for children is 3,000 colones ($6), including a drink.

At night, the bullriding continues with a showdown between Hacienda Nueva Reina of Orland Villareal and Hacienda El Retorno, with riders los Nicoyanos.

Wrapping up the fiestas on Monday, April 23rd, all of the four previous haciendas will participate.
