VoN Astro from May 1 to May 8
Because it is Eclipse Season

By Ashley Laux

05/03/13

As May begins we are adrift in an uncertain sea. Caught between two eclipses, the tides are pulling us in numerous directions. Our movements are fated, and our plates are full.

First of all, take a moment in the madness to celebrate May 1st, the Celtic holy day of Beltaine, the spring fertility rights. Dance, sing, feast and frolic for all that has yet to be born. Soothe your inner spaces that have become burdened down by powerful events of late. Turned inside out and hung to dry, any wounds we carry are being clearly made visible.

Some rewards are being reaped. Some disappointments are being healed. Emotions are heightened and reactions are amplified. Should you be feeling depressed or disheartened, remember to be kind to yourself. Respond to what happens with gratitude for the lesson, and accept the parameters of every experience. The one thing that we can know right now, is that all is as it is intended to be.

Everything occurring is timely, designed to assist us in shedding the limitations that prevent us from feeling safe and cared for by Life, and by Spirit. Breathe self-love into the spaces where you feel insecure or frightened. Allow yourself to be ok with what is. We cannot be everything for everyone. The future is uncertain, but all of the pieces and players are falling into place. Take on as little as possible. Life is what happens while we are busy making others plans.

But May first is also when Mercury moves into Taurus and this mean it is time to release recent dramas, in favor of focusing on quality and integrity in our dealings.

The mind becomes focused, practical; business oriented. Mental processes become systematic and thorough. We look towards our world and all that we use to define ourselves- real estate and land, possessions, and other things of substance. Slow down as you question what will sustain you for the long run.

Look closely at your associations and commitments- What can stand the tests of time? What is a worthwhile investment for your energy? What opportunities merit caution? What manifestations align with your highest beliefs and ideals? Prioritize choices that make you feel safe and secure. Become
grounded, stretch and breathe. Feel, touch, smell and taste your way forward, allowing your senses to guide you. Decide what will endure, by filling your thoughts with verdant green pastures of possibility.
