Of the main aqueducts only 19.7% have permanently operating disinfection equipment, while 80.3% do not have it.
– 31.3% of the population receives water without constant disinfection, which is a health risk.

Worldwide water consumption doubles every twenty years, more than twice the proportion of the growth of the human population. A prognosis of the United Nations is that two thirds of the world’s population will not have access to drinking water by the year 2025.
