Prepare your boots and hats, because before it begins raining in May, we will have the last "shake" of the high season. The Nosara Development Association offers four days of celebration during the month of April.
While this event known as "Las Ferias," will not have the caliber that a typical party had during January, but there will still be bull riding, traditional food and a lot of dancing.
The event begins on Friday, April 8th, with ranchera music. On Saturday, April 9th, on the main stage, will feature "Korporation," a cumbia and salsa band visiting from San Jose.
On Sunday, April 10th, there will be a night of pure reggaeton presenting Jonny Man and band Mecatelios, ending on Monday, April 11th with the entry of the bulls free to the public and half price on drinks.
The musical appetizer begins every day at 4pm with a brief concert on stage, and the highlight will be in the ballroom starting at 9pm.
The traditional Tope (horse riding) will be replaced by a ribbon race on Saturday, April 9th at noon on the rodeo stage.
